Where to even begin with this.. we haven’t really been able to post much lately due to real life taking the reigns over a bit the past few months (holidays, birthdays, etc). Seeing as how our last post was on the cusp of the release of Diablo 3; we here at CM were pretty damn stoked to play it. I’ll try to summarize a few of my thoughts as to why this game is tanking hard below.
My first initial issue with the game is that the devs are constantly nerfing farming spots in an item-hunting game, on top of which, the items you’re hunting are some of the crappiest, most heinously rolled items you’ll ever wish you didn’t see in a game with Diablo in the title.
The game itself has been broken and re-broken numerous times, they didn’t listen to a single thing that beta testers were warning them about in dealing with numerous aspects of the game.
The proposed integration of the AH and RMAH dictating drops for people in a single player online-only game (that in itself is a just f’n ridiculous to begin with, single player online-only W T F?) not only sickens me but also many many others.
Magic Find probably needs to be done away with because it’s seemingly useless since Nephalem Valor appears to be the only thing that actually makes a difference in loot quality; which in itself is already quite shit because well yeah – who doesn’t love getting lvl 51 rares in Inferno Acts 3 and 4?!
I’ll write a more in-depth blasting of Jay Wilson and his cronies soon enough when I have spare time; I just wanted to throw something up in the interim to show that we’re still around.
Thanks a bunch for those of you who comment and/or like our posts – It’s good to see that we’re not the only gamers who’re completely fed up with being treated like complete imbeciles and constantly having companies try to take collective shits in our cereal bowls.
Diablo 3 is upon us here in a matter of less than an hour! We’re giddy as all-get-out and ready to stomp some Demon ass! Be expecting some delayed posts as we spend our non-working waking hours playing the ever-living crap out of it. Time to move my computer desk into my bathroom! Business will resume as usual once the dust settles a bit. Have fun and enjoy yourselves, it’s a celebration bitches.
As I previously stated Zen and I got our hands on the Guild Wars 2 beta and got balls deep in some of the action in the first open weekend event in late April. These are my personal opinions and thoughts on my experiences over the 3 days that I played it.
First off, the character customization isn’t so massive that I feel like I’m playing the Sims, but it’s enough to make your character stand out in a sea of people – even more so with the free dying options you have available to you in the beginning of the game. Continue Reading
Been rather busy with real life as of late, Zen and I got our hands on the Guild Wars 2 beta for the event weekend that happened last week. Should have some incoming posts about our individual experiences and thoughts on that. In other news, took my guild/clan that I’ve been using in a butt load of games for years and decided to turn it into a gaming community for close friends/acquaintances and others who want to be a part of it. Special thanks to D F for reworking the site to accommodate the change and do all the behind the scenes crap for me. The site is still a work in progress and will be getting some updates here and there – Kollektiv Peace!

I’ll just throw it out there – the Resident Evil 6 pre-order bonuses look and smell like money grubbing DLC to me. Sure, it’s a multiplayer mode map that not many people will actually give enough of a shit to try more than once or twice. It’s just the whole principle of the matter to split up the 3 maps among various retailers. Wouldn’t this segregate the community? Unless… you pre-order 3 copies to get all the different maps, or they get packaged and resold at a later date. Wtf bro. I’ll give it to them, they have some mountain-sized cajones to drop that little gem into the market on the ass-end of the recent backlash that was their on-disc DLC fiasco with that Street Fighter 73 Turbo X Tek XX Marvel… or whatever the hell it is. Their responses to the whole matter was probably some of the saddest and most pathetic things I’ve read (besides my facebook wall) in a long time. I’d post some links to certain references but you can quite literally find hundreds of pages about the fiasco by Googling ‘capcom dlc controversy’.
